Additional Information
Approximately 100 volunteers from 16 years and up and different backgrounds and abilities pitch in and help make the Antelope Valley Taco Festival such a success. Typically volunteers commit to 5-hour shifts…and some really get into it and commit more than that.
It’s fun and rewarding. Duties vary from section monitors, greeting, parking lot assistance, assist with entertainment/stages, and more. We can accommodate those who need to sit and those who like to be on the move. You can let us know what duty you’d like to take on and we’ll do our best to match you with your request.
Our volunteers play a crucial role in the success of the Festival. If you haven’t already been recruited, you’ve come to the right place! Our favorite aspect of the Festival is “having the community involved.” Our biggest challenge each year is to ensure our volunteers are happy and their needs are met. So, if you’re still interested, answer these questions:
· Are you at least 16 years-old?
· Do you have a great attitude?
· Are you able to take direction with a smile?
· Do you have fun helping others?
· Would you like free entry into the Festival?
